The plot of Hard Times has an exciting climax and a good resolution, but I did wish for more actually enjoyable scenes throughout the book to make it a little less dark.It implies that people can benefit from hardship if they use it as an opportunity to build their character and become stronger individuals, by learning from their history.Many made the case for the greatness of the other novels, often at the expense of Hard Times, which was frequently described as misinformed on the issues, humorless, and lacking convincing and engaging characters.That mess and the slightly off characterisation of Keiko prevent me from being able to regard this episode as a perfect 4-star outing, but boy does it come close.Let's talk about that Agrathi prison.These are the sorts of people who cannot be fixed.Therefore, Aarnio argues that it is morally wrong and therefore unmanly to choose another man as a life partner.As we revisit its narrative in the year 2000, the film’s legacy shines brighter than ever.“If I spend another five minutes talking about these I'm going to buy 'em.” Sometimes even GQ editors need a little extra encouragement.
